I'm currently working on some tools in Wordpress as I wanted to change my blog's layout and structure.

I'm also searching for a domain name for my own blog, wish me luck!! More updates to come!

Drummo

I had my first official drum training today after months of
' hibernating '.

Due to the long abandonment of our drumming room, a clean up was suggested before training for some upkeep.

We started with zero.

Everything was dragged out of the room, except that heavy cupboard.







Imagine all those stuff in one room.

After the room was emptied, we start sweeping. Benny even hacked some brand-new broomsticks for our using. FYI, the territory around the room is a mosquito farm. While cleaning, some of them even found a giant lizard ( I don't know how big ) which probably had great meals for some time.

Some GKU*-categorized drums are disposed too during the cleanup.

The cleanup took about 2 hours and everyone worked well. Finally, a less messy, organized, and cleaner room. It's my third time having a gotong-royong with the team since I joined last year.




Btw during the cleanup process, Zhuang's contact lens somehow managed to escape from his eye. While putting it back, he used my cellphone's 3G camera as a mirror. Somehow I managed to take this..

After that, we had lunch and training started as usual. New rudiments for this year's performances!

Another great album by this guy, the tracks are a bit different from his previous ones as he demonstrates a new style with this album, focusing on rock genre. My personal favourites are tracks 1, 2 and 9.

School stuff

First week in school, here are 5 things you ought to know about my class (SO FAR) :

• My Physics teacher said that Albert Einstein saw an apple drop from a tree and discovered gravity
  
• My Chinese and English teacher gave us the same title for our first essay - 'Myself'
• My Biology teacher is the same as my Science teacher two years ago
• The curtains at the side windows are unwashed for the whole holiday
• The timetable pasted on the notice board is the smallest one ever in my class

Form 4's way much different from last year, most notably subjects and exam formats.

Tuitions packed my whole week except Friday, which I have drum practices. Homework is a big headache. Not much time for blogging or online these days..



C'est la vie, that's life.

Another day

First day at school is bored. Yeah, bored.


Nothing much changed. Still the same old looking school and it'll be will be my fourth year there, time really flies!

Did nothing much today except for chatting with friends around my own form. Got to meet some old pals which I hadn't see them for such a long time. Btw, I had a drum practice after school with some drummers and we practised a few moves for tomorrow's performance at primary school where some big names in the Malaysian politics will be present, including our Deputy Prime Minister.

Another performance will be on Tuesday at the school hall, which is a performance for the newcomers of the school as it's their orientation week. Not much to post, attending Math class tonight.

Buhbye Holy-days

Kinda bored today, 'enjoying' my last day of holiday in a windy mood.

Well, what I did so far is that this morning I went for a haircut this morning which consumed me 2 hours of waiting + cutting time. *Sighs*

In the afternoon, went to my dad's shop as he needs some help. Managed to sell a pair of Everlast canvas shoes. Met a friend there and I'd just stay for a while and went home. Before going up to my apartment, the cool and strong wind tempted me as I was reaching the stairs. I then sat down...enjoying the cool 'afternoon breeze' till I'm satisfied.

Reached home and suddenly, I remembered about the tuitions I had to attend later and started to feel that my old pal - Laziness is knocking at my door. Yeah, I can't wait to start having classes but I somehow feel kinda lazy. Well, humans are like that, but not all =)

Oops, look at the time..I guess I'm spending to much time on this post. Gotta go for now, as I had BM and Chemistry classes later. I had to say I'm reluctant to 'end' this holiday, which started way back the day PMR finished.

09 debut post

For me, 2008 started with high hopes, and ended in joy and satisfaction. I wish 09 would be the same too, better!



Hey guys, time flies. No doubt, 09's first day is about to be gone within half an hour. I start to wonder how life will be this year. Well, not thinking too much, I just wanna enjoy this last few days of holiday.

Recently, I've been to a few gatherings and parties ( not very big ones ) and all of them are STEAMBOATS. It's funny to say that everyone chooses the have steamboat and it's my first time having them 3 times in a week. I'm just back from the latest steamboat gathering at Jayveen's house. I must say that her mum's tomyam soup was great! The other ones are at Carol and Ting's house.

Currently, I already have some small to-do's in my planner. I'll be having drum practice this Saturday for a performance on the 5th [ I can't wait to drum!! ]. My new tuition will be starting on the same day too. I'll be finishing my self-help book as I'm in the last chapter. Lastly, I'll be packing my school bags soon and be ready for a new schooling life with new challenges. Life's starting to be normal again.

With busy times coming, happy times are not to forget. Spending happy times with family, loved ones, people you care are important too. I do hope I can get better relations this year, regardless of family, friends or anyone in contact. I hope I'll stay happy, so do you, everyone!
