Training

I'm currently undergoing a one-week training program at SMK Sultan Sulaiman, as I'll be taking part in state track and field tournament.

The training is from 22/3 till 31/3 EVERYDAY. It starts from 3.30pm-6pm and from 27/3 onwards, it will be from 7.30am-10.30am plus afternoon. Freaking tired while training under the bloody hot sun. Don't expect too much updates from me....

Letter from Google

Weeks ago I placed some ads by Google onto my blog with Google AdSense.

Like Nuffnang, AdSense is an advertisement serving program run by Google. It's one of the most popular advertising program in the world. Many benefited from this program as they said that it's a fast earning tool for bloggers and websters.

I signed up for an account to place these ads on my blog. At first I thought I'm gonna be rich in a few days or weeks. I clicked on the ads myself and kept spamming, and in just 4 days my account reached 16 USD. Holy-God-Damn happy am I to earned the lot!

Actually happiness seems far away....

I got that when I signed in few days later.

Sad case, I don't know why my account was disabled. But in my devilish heart I knew it was gonna be the clicking-spam I made on the ads. I received an email from google notifying me.

Google's smartness found out that the same source (me) had been doing the clicking on the ads. Now I knew that I can't fool a internationally-recognized company.

I went to check out the disabled FAQs. Here's what I've saw.

To be fair, I admit that I've done those invalid click activities which are very unfair to the advertisers. Many knew the phrase '' Turn over a new leaf''. I wanted to create another account for the program. Sadly, Google ignored.

WHY??? I wished I did not see this.

*SOBS*

Anyway I'm just over with it. I can't do anything as it's Google's right to decide.

The fun part is that I received a letter few days ago from Google itself!

Surprised of course! The letter is sent all the way from the States. I wonder why Google sent me as I already knew my account was disabled.

Guess what? The letter was sent to inform me my AdSense PIN number.

Geezzz. I thought I was banned weeks ago, and still I received a letter containing my PIN number for my payment authorization.

So Google, are you a bit delayed? No offense. You still have my support.

Anyway, lesson learnt. Do not cheat. It sucks.

Tagged

Frankly, I've been tagged for the first time since started blogging in November last year.

Intentionally/ Unintentionally tagged by Calwin.

Directions : Once you've been tagged, you have to write a post with sixteen random things, habits or goals about you. At the end, choose five people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them. Don't forget to leave a comment (''You're tagged!'') and to read your blog, you can't tag the person who tagged you. Since you can't tag me, let me know when you've posted your blog, so I can see your weirdness.

1.  I'm back from Drummer's Camp and I'm freaking tired.

2.  For the first time in my life I continuously slept after 1am for 3 days.

3.  I checked the newspaper instantly after I'm back to see the score on United's match against Liverpool. WTF they lost 4-1 at home??

4.  I'm alone at home replying this tag.

5.  My cellphone got a scratch at it's front screen, luckily there's a screen protector.

6.  Streamyx is slower than ever!!

7.  I do hope there's a campaign agaist Streamyx by the Streamyx-ed someday.

8.  Turn off your anti-virus. They'll only make your com lag.

9.  Coffee makes me sleepy. LOL :-)

10. No rain today? During my three days at the camp almost all the time there was rain.

11. Due to my sucking internet line, I can't play Dota with my friends for nearly a month.

12. Credits for Assassin's Creed, but it's kinda hard to play.

13. Google banned my AdSense account. Damn.

14. Seeing many ex-form 5 friends, I'm jealous about school-less life.

15. My Nuffnang account  has 46 cents left to reach RM10.

16. Being tagged is [       ]. I don't know.

Here are the lucky ones to be tagged by me:

- Chen Hui. Ain't got tagged before? I saw your new template!

- Yizen. No reason, just for fun XD

- Cedric. Well, since you're one of my closest buddies who owns a blog.

- Khai Xin. Cause you're my cousin. Aha!

- Vivian. My senior in Prefects Board.

Wow, I'm finally done with this post! Have fun tagging!

Drummer's Camp 09

It's the second camp I've been to since becoming a drummer.

Aimed to train new members more quick and efficiently, the camp lasted for 3 days, on the 14th to 16th of March.

The coaching was done by me, Min Zhuang and Benny. We trained in the mornings, afternoons and nights.

The new members practised some basic rudiments with a little bit of drumming techniques.

The core members also trained a new piece choreographed by Abraham, our coach.

A new concept and formation of drums will be used in this piece. Seven drums form the front row which is triangular in shape. Another five will be the middle and flat drums. Three highly positioned drums at the back completes the formation.

New rudiments for us in our new piece. I'm quite impressed by the beats in this piece, all made my our coach. They aren't easy. But anyway I must say that he's a great coach. Also, he's funny.

The core members trained until 12am++ midnight and believe me, after training we still had to go and bath as we have absolutely no time to do that during the day.

Any ideas where we slept during the camp? I mean the core members..

On stage.

Aaron's one-and-only cozy bed tempted everyone, he's a good spot finder as his place was the coolest and most relaxing one on the stage.

Time flies. Days are just gone like that and the camp finally ended this evening at 6pm. A small gathering before departing was held. I hope that all the new members will benefit from this camp and be better in the coming days.

Tiring, as always. A camp's gonna be like that. Anyway I enjoyed my time as camp commander and I wanna say thanks to everyone who participated in this camp. I do hope for a better one next year if possible.

By the way, to the core members. I had a great time with you guys. We trained, joked and shared for so long and I want us to be always a team.

Another web album will be uploaded soon until I've got all the pictures taken by others.

Finally, a big thanks for our coach Abraham!

COD 5, Devils advance

Now this is one hell of the games.

During the Left 4 Dead spree my friend Koong was just busy talking about this game. From the graphics to the gameplay and action, he somehow made L4D looked like a dull, average game.

Oh yeah I was kinda bored with him until he gave me the game.

Based on the World War 2, there are two main characters in the game which you'll use. Private Miller, a US soldier who will fight battles with the Japanese and Private Petrenko, a Russian soldier who fights against the Nazis in Germany.

The graphic rocks. Sadly, I've finished the game in 2 days, in EASY mode.

As you're playing you could see some of the real videos actually taken during the World War 2. Be grateful not to live in the war days with all the dying and suffering like those who did.

Over 70 million people were killed during this bloodiest event in human history.

Enough of the war things, now I can proudly state that I'm true that United beat Inter Milan in the Champions League!

I know I'm delayed, but I somehow did not managed to post about it until today.

United draw in the first leg but won during the second with two headers from Vidic and Ronaldo, Inter are outlasted!

This means that United advanced into the last eight of the CL.

By the way, I'll be going to the Drummer's Camp at school until Monday. Updates will be back after I'm back. Till now then, bye.

Week review

I was just back from the MSSMKTS track & field competition last week at Stadium Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, Gong Badak.

Besides a wonderful place to run, the atmosphere there was great. It gives you the kinda feeling that you're really in the athletics business.

I took part in the same old events, basically sprinting and the relays. Managed to get a bronze and a silver as I mentioned earlier.

Something that never happened to me before happened. Don't worry, I didn't break my leg. As you can see, runners are required to wear spike shoes while running on the tracks including me.

Those sharp little spikes..ever wonder how it feels when you got stepped by someone wearing these? After quite a few years running with these, I did.

During the competition, I was jumped-&-stepped by one of the runners. He was playing something with another guy and I was just right behind him. I had no idea why he jumped backwards and somehow his landing was just PERFECT. Lol.

And my shoe gets a Hero's Mark for it's bravery! Duh.

Luckily I didn't lose my toe and it's just a minor injury. I just felt pain for some time. Anyway it's a lesson not to stand too near or behind hyperactive people.

And then recently I have itchy spots on my thighs. Believe me, it's really itchy. I could spend minutes scratching it until it becomes reddish and I curse myself for doing it. Sorry I have no pics about it but I do have this.

Hopefully they would help me out of this problem.

By the way, I wish to say Happy Birthday to my lovely sister Grace who turns 14 today!

Grace by name, full with grace indeed.
All the best in everything! Although no presents from me but an apology cause I've secretly upload your pic.

Lovely isn't it? Again, Happy Birthday!!!

Finally, I'll be back in school after a week-plus gone.

Signing off, Kenny T.

Screamyx

In Malaysia, we are all lucky to be Streamyx-ed.

I just don't understand what's the bloody problem with Streamyx. People called them names such as Screamyx, Shitmyx, TM Nut or bla bla bla. Why? Cause it sucks and that's a fact.

Things you ought to know about Streamyx:
  • It's slower than ever.
  • It's not cheap.
  • It's lag.
  • It ALWAYS disconnect for no reason.
  • It throts P2P usage.
  • It's making Malaysians crazy.
  • It's making gamers crazy, even from other countries. Click here.
  • It's making me crazy.

And yet, look at what Streamyx tells the people on their website.

Let the freaks believe them.

Unlimited broadband access blocks P2p usage such as torrents and file sharing. High speed? I'm using a connection rate of 1mb/s and experiencing something like 1kb/s. No disconnections, LMAO. It disconnects almost evertime I use it, in fact everytime I should say. Great Value because you pay more money for slower connection speed?

Broadband your life today and experience the slowest Internet like never before!

Above there's my pc after putting outside my room, situated beside another pc. Dad bought a Linksys modem for connecting both pc's via local area network.

Connection was just okay at the begining, but it seems to be getting worse and I had disconnection problems all the time.

I really got fed up with this problem..especially when gaming. I could not even play 1 single Dota match on Garena. Geez.

Complaining, my dad return the modem to check if it has problems. But the seller tested and have no problem at all. What can I say? Streamyx line in my house is shit. And now, I had to use the old modem Streamyx gave when we first registered to use its service.

Guess what? Nothing different!

When I'm typing post I'd already suffered many disconnections especially when uploading the pictures! Argh..

CURSE YOU SCREAMYX !!

Malaysia Boleh. Enjoy.

Devils roll on

Football stuff now. Proudly, I am a fan of Manchester United.

The Red Devils's dazzling form this season enabled them to be contenders for all 5 of the avaliable trophies. Early this season United won the Community Shield agaist Portsmouth.

They continue to win the Club World Cup in 2009.

Recently they beat Tottenham on penalties in the Carling Cup final.

Their latest win against Newcastle edges them closer to the Premier League title.

Yesterday, they thrashed Fulham 4-0 into the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

United's quest for a quintuple-trophy-season marches on after wins and wins. They'll face Inter Milan in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quartal-finals, hoping that a win would bring them into the semi-finals.

I've been supporting this club which is the first club I had ever knew, always!!

Glory Glory Man Utd!
