Rynn's Album Pormotion in KT

Last night, I went to Rynn's album promo at CHWS primary school hall.

Arrived at 7.30pm, and the mini-concert was supposed to start at 8pm, but like Air-Asia, it delays and delays until around 8.45pm and started. The funny thing is the audience had to stand up and sing our national anthem and the organizer's group song. I saw some old folks sitting down like nothing has happened during the national anthem. Aren't the old ones should be the examples?

After that, there was a short speech from the organizer and the opening ceremony started. About 9pm, everyone finally can see the main character today, Rynn Lim. Rynn sang his latest songs 幹物女, 远远, 改嫁, and an old hit 靠岸. To be honest, I think he'll be disappointed as the reaction of the audience was not good, but at least some of them showed thier support to him.

Boriiing...

It's Friday, as usual, it's very very quiet in town..
Busy ones can sit down and relax as it's a public holiday..
The weather's cool, refreshing with small drizzles of rain..
But I, did not enjoy it =.=

November's coming to an end and it will be 08's final month soon. Today is its last Friday though, and I'm just sitting in front of my com, staring at it, wondering what I'm gonna write in this post. Compared to the normal days, the weather's much better cause it's not hot. But on the other hand, I can't go out for activities cause it rains. Well, you can say that everything has its pros and cons now.

No activities means no events, I've got nothing special to post now..all I can say that is I'm bored.
I'll try to find something to post a.s.a.p.

Raining spree

IF you live in Kuala Terengganu, you will be experiencing the same weather these days - rain.
Drizzles and downpour, from morning till night..the same weather since November as it's the monsoon season here.

Bond's latest

When I was in Penang, I had the chance to watch the latest James Bond movie - Quantum of Solace at Queensbay Mall. Honestly, I did not watch any Bond movies before.


I enjoyed the movie as it was trilling and full of action - Guns and missiles, planes and boat crashes, high tech weapons and gadgets, bombs and explosions in the end, quite amazing for a first-time-bond-movie-watcher. As there are many series in the Bond movies, I did not understand what's going on in the beginning cause I did not watch the previous ones.

Quantum of Solace is the sequel to the previous Bond movie - Casino Royale which is released few years ago. Recently I had some free time and watched Casino Royale on my PPStream. It was a great movie..of course all of action and fighting, and the gambling as the movie title speaks. Now I can get a picture of the story and friendly speaking, I can't wait for the next movie!

I heard some of my friends said these during the trip when we're at the cinema:

" Watch Bond ar? Don't wan la..so boring.."
" Watch Coffin la!"
" James Bond? Watch till sleep."
" Wanna watch Wushu?"
" I'm hungry."

I wondered..

Have u guys experienced Déjà vu? Or even heard about this word? Déjà vu can be also known as paramnesia or promnesia. According to Wikipedia, Déjà vu is the experience of feeling sure that one has witnessed or experienced a new situation previously (an individual feels as though an event has already happened or has happened in the near past). Get the meaning?

It means like experiencing a situation which had already happened to you, either you dreamed or even thought about it. For example, you are having dinner with a group of friends, discussing some topics about Maths, and you have the feeling that you've already experienced this very thing -- same friends, same dinner, same topic. I once had this experience which I remembered clearly..I've forgotten whether I've dreamed about it or what..but at a time something happened to me then I suddenly had this ''hey..I've seen/experience this event before!'' kinda feeling..then I'll start to wonder what actually happened, but I can't explain it to myself.

After some time, I had this feeling again( I've forgotten what event was that ), and..the thing happening to me is exactly at the same place, person and scene! According to scientific research - thanks to Wikipedia again, Déjà vu is an impression that an experience is "being recalled." It's hard to explain to those who had not experienced, but to those who had may know what I mean. To be honest, I did not knew what Déjà vu means( although I've seen this word before) until I read a book which I've bought in Penang. Quite surprised though..

Kenny returns

Sorry to all my readers cause I'm quite tired and busy this few days and got little time to update my blog. I'm back from the trip and still waiting for the pictures which I'll be posting in my blog. Anyway I had a fun time there and I wish to say thanks to everyone, especially my parents for letting me join this trip and of course - my FRENZ! All of you were great, helpful, and FUNNY during the trip.. I bet it's gonna be a memorable trip for us..hope for more!

Although back from the trip, I'm been occupied by programs and programs and PROGRAMS!! I went jogging with Ren Wei and gang on Saturday morning and in the evening we played basketball. It was an unlucky day for me as my phone dropped into a drain full of water. Argh..(Bt anyway it's repaired now)And now the guys are planning another 2-activity day on Tuesday - Badminton in the morning and softball in the evening. I'm still considering though...as it's tiring..

At home I had nothing to do except walking around, eat, sleep, sms, somtimes I get the chance to touch my com. My sisters are all snatching it from me *sobs* and I'm sick of that. If I get the chance I'll be posting more on this blog.

Gathering and fun

I took a night bus back from Penang on Wednesday. I was fed up as my bus was at Kedah due to technical problems. I needed to follow another bus to 2 other stations until I'm able to board my own bus. However, reached KT at around 5.45am in the morning.As I walked home from the bus station, the city was entirely quiet...

Alright, back to my main topic. The afternoon on the day itself my friends and I had a Bbq gathering at Min Zhuang's house. I was quite happy to see my friends after away for some time(although just 4 days). We chatted a lot and discussed about the trip next Monday.

The fun continues until everyone went back except a few of them....including me who will be staying the night there. I went to bed the earliest as I'm tired after coming back from the camp. The next day I was told that they went to bed at 5am in the morning! Thank God I've slept earlier last night. After breakfast we followed Zhuang's car for a swim at Ibai Golf Resort.

Extraordinary Camp!!

扎根,成长。

That's the theme of the Malaysia Chinese Secondary Schools Leadership Camp 2008 I've went to during Monday ( 9/11 ) till Wednesday ( 12/11 ). The fact is that's truly one of the best camps I've been to! I gain memorable feelings and experiences there that's totally unforgettable. I departed from KT on Monday morning by airplane. The teacher in charge there took us there by car.

It was so boring when I got there..there was no one except students from Johor. I waited and took a stroll around the college..and it was until about 2pm students from other states reach and register. I was the only one from Terengganu and I felt lonely there..( especially in my room ). Soon I met some guys from Kedah and chat with them about our schools prefect system.

The opening ceremony started at 7.30pm at night in the lecture hall. There were all 225 students participating in this camp. We're divided into 14 groups in total.

The second day is quite benefitial for me although we're required to listen to 4 speeches on that day! All the speeches are great as they gave me more confidence and motivated me to become a better person. Everyone shared their experiences in life together and many of us cried..it was a rare and touching scene that time.

The third day was great! Let me share it with everyone..
In the morning we built sandcastles which I've never done it before in my life. Btw the sandcastles are not those kiddy sandcastles you think....

This exciting activity made me learn about the importance of teamwork and discipline. Everyone worked hard to get the sandcastle done. We've spent about 3 hours to get this sandcastle built!

In the afternoon we visited 3 interesting places in Penang - Khoo Kongsi Temple, War Museum & state market. I liked the War Museum though as it is one of the British and Japanese campsites during war in our country. You can still see writings on the wall and bloodstains of people who died that time in the houses(TRUE). However I didn't manage to take pictures which I regretted after coming back.

I can say that that night was the most wonderful night of all! Each group will be presenting a drama/song/play on stage for everyone. All of them are great although everyone had little time to prepare. Each presentation showed moral values in it. A leader requires loads of values and leadership abilities to be succesful. After the presentations, the fun begins!

Everyone stood up and sing, dance, cheer.....some of them even rushed onto stage and believe me, I had never seen this type of scene in any other camps. You can feel the joy and fun after 2 days of ''suffering''( Not enough sleep, tight activity schedule which was tiring ). I remembered that we sang these songs..

There are still many of them which I've forgotten. All I can remember are the ones above. It's getting more exciting when the teachers join us too. Everyone in the hall had a wonderful time. We sang until 2am in the morning if I had not forgotten..after that we had a sharing time. Many shared their feelings and thoughts about this camp. I shared mine too! Went to bed at around 3am in the morning and required to wake up at 6.30am in the morning for breakfast..it was tiring man....

The last day see us listening to our final speech in this camp, and then we had a photography session in school uniforms. After the closing ceremony and our last meal there, farewell! i can see hugs and faces with tears around me as I was leaving the college...to be honest I wished I can have at least 1 more day here. i had this when you start knowing more friends and getting well with them, you've gotta go feeling and that is sad...


Let me summarize what I've learned in this camp:

- Everyone had a genius in them, and it's up to them to awake it.
- 华人为华社!
- 能感恩多少, 就能享受多少
- 不要享受别人的牺牲, 为别人牺牲
- 塑造自己迈向成功
- Qualities to be a leader
- 扎根, 成长


Great camp, great experience. Looking forward to similar ones!

Outstation

I'll be in Penang for the Malaysia Chinese Schools Leadership Camp 2008 tomorrow. Going there by airplane next morning. I'll be there for 4 days which is till the 12/11 and will take a bus back that night. I do hope to gain valuable experiences and knowledge during the camp. While I'm away, I won't be updating this blog till I'm back. See ya!

Early preparation

In 2009, I will be in form 4 and that is very different from form 3 in terms of subjects. New subjects such as physics, biology, add maths, accounting..ah..so many of them..the format of exams are also different in other subjects which requires more writing and understanding.

By the way, my neighbor, who is in form 6 now, is willing to give me all his revision books since he's not using them anymore.

RIMUP Program

As I mentioned in my previous posts, I've joined friends from my school to participate in the Kuala Terengganu region RIMUP ( Rancangan Intergrasi Murid Untuk Perpaduan ) program at SMK Bukit Besar, KT. Three schools took part in this program and we're divided into four groups during the activities. The schedule looks something like this...


7.45-8.00am : Departed from school by bus.

8.00-8.15am : Short brief and the dividing of groups.

8.30-9.30am : Futsal competition.

9.45-10.30am : Tug-of-war!( Tarik tali )

10.45-11.30am : Breakfast and rest.

11.45-12.30pm : Speech time.( This is really boring man..)

12.30-1pm : Prize giving and closing ceremony.


After that, balik lu!



Well, the main objective of this program is to develop the understanding of different races in our country. I guess we enjoyed the activities more than that ( especially tug-of-war for me ) and although it was tiring after the activities, the time was worth spending.

Day with drums

Another fine day..(not till at night) and I was informed to be in charge in an activity which was participated by some teachers from schools around eastcoast Malaysia at Dewan Tunku Abdul Rahman, KT. The activity is mainly about the understanding towards different traditional and cultural games of the country. I was in charge with the 24 season drums together with my teammate, Jun Xiang.

As instructors, we are required to teach those teachers the basics of playing the drums and perform some of our pieces. It's quite fun teaching those friendly teachers anyway, looking how they played the drums with different expressions...

There are other games such as the kompang, Chinese chess, Chinese yo-yo, congkak and bamboo dance. The Chinese yo-yo impressed me though.

Went back at around 4.30pm. It was quite an afternoon spent. Anyway I'll be joining my friends for the telematch at Bukit Besar tomorrow.

Yeah, that's right..Barack Obama is the new and 44th President of United States. He is also the first American-African to hold this post in American history. He will succeed the old Mr.Bush and will be in office next year.



Yeah I've won it!


America is the world's leading generation, regardless of power, economy and technology. What about Malaysia? Recently you can see all the quarrels and arguments happening in the parliament (if you watched news) which is not a good sign for the country. Malaysia's politicians should be more tolerant in different ways in order to build a harmonious country for the people,not just by standing on their own judgement and thinking.

Busy times

Since the PMR examinations are over, life is getting quite boring..besides eating and sleeping, I barely did anything except hanging out with friends and sitting in front of my computer screen.
However it's the first week of November 08 now and I started to have some plans and activities coming into my schedule.

What I'm gonna do in November 08:

  • Represent the school to a inter-school friendly telematch with my friends at Bukit Besar
  • Attend a leadership camp in Penang representing the school's prefect board
  • Join a trip to KL-Genting organized by my classmates
  • Hang out with friends for sports or entertainment
  • Think of someone =p
  • Update this blog!

I guess this could be a to-do list for me this month..more posts to come!

Smart letter

I found this on a website and thought of sharing it in my blog...

Read this "HATE letter". It is so funny and creative. This is a loveletter from a boy to a girl.... However, the girl's father does not like him and want them stop their relationship......and so..the boy wrote this letter to the girl..he knows that the girl's father will definitely read this letter..

Simple words from me

I'm an inexperienced blogger and this is my first personal blog. Anyway I've done some blogging for my school's drumming team blog which you can check it out on my "Check This" column.
